Additional info

Director Medeea Anton has a predilection for absurdist theater and stark aesthetics. In her The Dumb Waiter light, sound and floating decor paint a suspended picture of absurdity, tied together by a striking color palette.

Ben is a calm, authoritative, and cryptic figure – played by Oisín Moyne. Best known as director of “Waiting for Godot” (2023), Oisín Moyne’s theater making endeavors see him fit as a stage and voice actor, as well as in management positions within several theater groups in the past decade, culminating in the co-foundation of Noordhaus.

Gus is nervous, confused, and uncertain about the job and the strange situation he and his colleague find themselves in. Ivan Pickman gives this character life on stage. Prolific and ubiquitous in both English and Dutch speaking theater groups in Groningen, Ivan Pickman’s bold stage presence has been bringing him main roles one after the other. With Gus, he furthers his absurdist streak after having been Hamm in Samuel Beckett’s “Endgame”.
